My wife and I were looking for a relaxed and inexpensive lunch and we were not disappointed. If we were coming for the reasonably price food, we were most certainly satisfied. My wife had the banana pancakes and I had one of their hot breakfast sandwiches - both of which were delicious and expertly crafted. Each element of our dishes was perfectly complimentary and it was clear a master composed the menu and prepared our meals. But we weren’t just impressed by the excellent food at reasonable prices - the staff were excellent and the service was great. It’s a pleasure to eat at a place where the staff clearly enjoy what they’re doing and take pride in their work. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and we felt incredibly well looked after. We were also impressed by the cafe’s set up, down to the vegetable garden planter with seasonal produce and the marigolds on each table (which had been watered that morning, as shown by water in the rustic terracotta sauces, just showing the attention to detail the staff at Good Day have). The only thing that makes me sad is that this cafe is not in my home town in the suburbs of Melbourne. I’ll be visiting again if I’m ever in the area.

My friends and I had breakie at Good day this morning and we were so impressed with the service and food! The guy who served us was super friendly and efficient. Overall great experience and definitely recommend!
