Came here for my Christmas work-do and was very impressed! Charley Noble 100% lives up to its name and indeed was the best fish n chips I've ever had!! Also I tried oysters for the first time here and I loved them! Staff were all polite and very helpful, everyone does their job really well! (I use to be a waitress so I know what it's like) Spent over 2 hours here chatting with all my work colleagues, was lovely thank you Charley Noble :)

Fantastic restaurant near the port of Wellington. Atmosphere was nice and service was perfect. Had a great meal. Although a little bit expensive, the freshness and tastiness makes up for it. Highly recommended if you have a little more to spend in this wonderful seaside city!

So good! Food delicious. Very good service. We had 4 mains, lamb and steak are very soft. 👍Burger is great, risotto is yum, too. Highly recommended. By the way, raw oyster is fresh, but not big enough. If you rarely try raw oyster, you could try it.

On the contrary to other reviews we felt the service is very casual. Not wanting to be too harsh....for Wellington standards this may be one of the ‘best’ but for those with international standards it’s not. We dined at lunch time and had to pore our own wine... I don’t expect this for a $400 lunch (for two!) The food was high quality produce however the steak and veg a little over cooked.
